Based on 3 Point Method for testing bend strength, substrate measured more than 700 Mpa, with modulus of elasticity rated at 335 GPa. Bulk density tests out at 4.35 g/cmł. Applications include automotive, power supply, sensing, durable goods, telecom, medical, and aerospace systems.

It offers compressive and flexural strengths of 40,000 and 15,000 psi, respectively, dielectric strength of 400 V/mil, and thermal conductivity of 2.88 Btu-in/hr-ft˛-°F. Product comes in rods from Ľâ€“1 in. diameter x 18 in. long and plates from 1/8–1 in. thick x 14 x 20 in.

Characteristics include 25 Kpsi compressive strength, 100 V/mil dielectric strength, and thermal conductivity of 9.0 Btu-in/hr-ft˛-°F. Product is supplied in powder form and mixed in ratio of 100 parts powder to 12-14 parts water. It is dispensed through pressurized dispensing equipment and sets in 16 hr at room temperature, or can be cured more rapidly at 200°F in 1-2 hr.

Feb 14, 2002 Super-Heat(TM) 676-Series Magnesium Oxide crucibles can be used for ultra-high temperature processing of metals, slags, and superconductor compounds. MgO ceramic is full-fired, 99% pure material with high density (3.45 g/cc) fine-grain microstructure. It offers alternative to alumina because it exhibits better chemical resistance and is inert. Crucibles are available in both shapes up to 7 in. dia, 12 in. long, and with wall thickness of 0.2 in.

Dec 27, 2001 Ceramacast™ 510 aluminum oxide based, hydraulic-setting ceramic compound potting material can be used to encapsulate cartridge heaters and embed high temperature components to 3200şF. Supplied as dry powder, Ceramacast 510 is bonded using calcium aluminate and as-cast. Its dried density is 180 lbs/ft^3, and it exhibits exceptional thermal conductivity and dielectric strength of 75-100 volts/mil. It cures in 24 hours at room temperature.
