Ancamide 2652 polyamide adduct is designed for use with liquid epoxy resins in 2-part, ambient-cured coatings. It delivers overcoatability of up to 3 months. Exhibiting heat, blush, and cathodic disbondment resistance, Ancamide 2634 is modified polyamide designed for use in 2-component solvent-borne epoxy coatings.

Used for architectural coatings from flat through gloss applications, product is suited for use as replacement for vinyl acrylic/acrylic blends, vinyl acrylics with wet adhesion, and pure acrylics. Amount of required coalescing solvent lets formulators develop coatings with minimal VOC levels.

Cold fog testing on 30 µm multilayer extruded film containing 5% HYDROCLEAR 2 found that anti-fog agent prevents droplet formation within 15 min after package is placed in refrigerator at 4°C. Anti-fog agent also has hot-fog properties, preventing droplet formation in fresh-food packages containing hot food.
