Mar 24, 2003 CoroGrip Pencil Collets allow users to machine further into cavities and pockets with no compromise in stability, making them suitable for die and mold applications. They are available for endmills with shank diameters of 6, 8, 10, and 12 mm. Together with CoroMill Plura endmills, collets provide minimum run-out and high precision.

Aug 28, 2002 Headstock and sub-spindle collets are ground to precise size and TIR to meet precision machining requirements. Carbide-lined, Swiss guide bushings keep stock clean and unmarked, and extended-nose collets are suited for pick-off work or to compensate for tooling interference. Heat-treated to 40 Rockwell at head, they also serve as emergency collets.

Aug 20, 2002 Collet models 1C and 3C for Spindle Headstock Assemblies can be used as original equipment in lathes, grinding machines, and special purpose machines, including the manufacture of medical and electronic components. Accepting collets directly into spindle without use of additional collet fixtures, capacities range from 1/64 to 1-3/4 in. for OD holding, 3/4 to 6 in. for step chuck OD holding, and 1/4 to 6 in. for ID holding with expanding collets.

Lexair, Inc.
Lexington, KY 40511 1018
Jan 28, 2002 Tiny Mini-Collet Closer is 1-1/2 in. square with 3/4 in. dia capacity, can be mounted on vertical machining centers or CNC drilling and tapping machines, and is suitable for machining miniature parts such as medical devices, fuel injectors and computer components. It can be used as single unit or in multiple configurations either horizontally or vertically, and can be activated by air or hydraulic pressure if more clamping is needed.

Jan 02, 2002 Direct mount collet chucks can be used on any spindle that uses draw tube type actuator. With pull back design, compact units are suited for clamping small diameter workpieces, increasing tool clearances and reducing strain on spindle bearings. Rigid clamping allows increased machine speeds for bar feed applications. Chucks are available in types 5C, 16C, 3J, 20C and 25C. Threaded nose is available on 5C chucks to provide step chuck capability.

Nov 28, 2001 High-pressure hydraulic Tri-Grip 5C collet is suitable for workholding applications in vertical and horizontal machining centers. It operates 3 collets simultaneously, with each on 2-1/2 in. center. Collet and part do not move, maintaining fixed height from part to part. It automatically locates collet locking screw access on top of collet block, which allows infinite collet or part orientation. Multiple closers can be clustered on fixture.
