Mar 13, 2008 Steel shaft collars are machined from AISI 1018 steel and allow users to create custom components including lever arms and adjustable sprocket mounts. Collars are suitable for custom fabricating in mechanical and structural components such as brackets and supports. Available in standard 1 and 2 piece styles as well as sizes ranging from ¼ to 6 in. I.D. Optional customization can be supplied up to 16 in. I.D.

Quick release, one-piece units are hand installed and have holding force of 55-80 lb depending on U-Clip size. They are available in 10, 12, 15, 16, 20, and 22 mm sizes, and feature spring loaded release plate that permits slide on/off action.

Customized to sizes from ½-10 in. ID, collars suit drive systems, conveyors, mixers, test fixtures, and other applications. Product incorporates features such as threaded, square, or hexagonal bores, and mounting holes on face or OD.

Available in 1-piece, 2-piece, and hinged-collar styles, products are machined from steel, 303 stainless steel, and aluminum. Collars, offered in standard inch/metric sizes from 1/8–10 in. ID and 3.175–254 mm, may also be constructed from 316 stainless steel, brass, bronze, and exotic alloys.
