Suited for implantable orthopedic applications, product minimizes problems associated with nickel toxicity and can be considered for bone screws, intramedullary nails for femurs, and trauma devices. Alloy, with typical yield strength of 230 ksi and tensile strength of 250 ksi, is resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion.
