Sep 17, 2002 Energy Saving Dryer Series are available in capacities from 800 to 3,000 scfm and maximum working pressure of 200 psi. All units use R-404a refrigerant and contain no chlorofluorocarbons. They have smooth surface, densely packed, tube in tube, copper heat exchangers that resist fouling. All dryers have filtered separator and monitor to provide optimum filter change out intervals. Two control options are available: Dual Control or Demand Manager.

Jun 13, 2002 Fuzzy control logic in ultrapulse refrigerated air dryer reduces power consumption compared to company’s older style hot gas bypass control systems. Logic measures and anticipates changes in demand and switches cooling circuit on and off to maintain required dew point, thus conserving energy without creating dew point spikes. Controller displays all critical operating parameters, handles flow rates of 30 scfm, and controls condensate drain.

Jun 06, 2002 Magnum SC and CT Series remove water and water vapor from compressed air. CT has multi-stage separator-coalescing filter installed after chiller to remove oil, water, and particulate contaminants. Both have Smart Cycle® demand control system and control center with flow schematics and digital telemetry for remote analysis of dryer performance. Dryers are available in 10 models from 2,500 to 18,000 scfm. Both can be built for flow rates up to 50,000 scfm.

Apr 10, 2002 RD Series refrigerated compressed air dryers remove moisture from indoor air lines while providing 35 to 38 deg F dew point, low pressure drops, and no heat exchanger freeze-ups at low loads. It has non-cycling refrigerant compressor, CFC-free R-22 refrigerant, and capacity control valve to maintain steady dew point when flows fluctuate. Models are available to handle flows from 10 to 3,000 scfm at 100 psig. Models under 40 scfm include built-in mechanical drain.

Mar 14, 2002 Refrigerated Dryers, with capacities from 1000 to 3000 scfm, have working pressures of 200 psig (max). Smooth surface, tube-in-tube, copper heat exchangers resist fouling, and provide heat transfer. All units use R-404a refrigerant, and contain no CFC's. Filtered separator equipped with Filter Monitor is standard on all models. Units also include Demand Manager(TM) microprocessor control system, and electronic demand drain.

Mar 12, 2002 EMD Plus Series avoids dew point fluctuations, thus providing dry, compressed air at lower energy cost. Controller signals compressor to stop when there is drop in compressed air temperature due to low flow conditions. Under such conditions, system retains ability to respond immediately to load increases. Models are available for flows of 40 through 25,000 scfm. All have digital dew-point readout and electric drain with panel-mounted controls.

Jan 29, 2002 Hydrobloc HB Series heatless desiccant dryer provides ultra dry compressed air down to -100°F dewpoint. It includes maintenance free shuttle valves, high efficiency coalescing prefilter, and particulate removal afterfilter. Dryers are available in 17 models rated from 55 to 3,250 scfm. Non-lubricated switching valve works with 2 solenoid-operated purge valves.

Jan 23, 2002 Balston Membrane Air Dryer will dry compressed air to dewpoints as low as -40°F at flow rates up to 100 SCFM. It has no moving parts and operates without attention. Coalescing prefiltration is employed immediately upstream of membranes to protect them from pipe scale, particulate, and liquids. Dryer requires no electrical connections, which makes it ideal for remote and point-of-use installations or for flammable and explosive applications.

Dec 17, 2001 Models SR-125 to SR-3000 cool compressed air by mechanical refrigeration, removing moisture and assuring that none condenses downstream unless air is exposed to lower temperatures. They have integral demister moisture separator and two-pass air system. Compressed air is pre-cooled in aluminum-finned, cross-flow heat exchanger to reduce refrigeration load, resulting in more efficient refrigeration system. Models range from 5 to 3000 scfm.
