It accepts all conductor sizes from No. 2 AWG through 500 kcmil and accommodates main feeder cable runs and taps of 350-500 kcmil conductors. Conductor sizes from No. 2 AWG through 250 kcmil are also accommodated with adapter applied to increase cable OD.

Splice can be used with standard copper or aluminum inline compression (crimp type) connectors. While cold shrink splice body is one-piece molded design made of silicone rubbers, cold shrink jacketing is made of EPDM rubber.

May 07, 2008 Featuring temperature rating of 200°C, D-200 MiniSeal Crimp Splices combine nickel-plated copper crimp barrel with separate, heat-shrinkable, transparent sealing sleeve that provides strain relief and environmental protection. They are available for wire range from 26-12 AWG and can be used to seal and protect high-temperature-rated wires with Teflon insulation, such as RCW and BMS13-60 nickel-plated wires. Termination is with standard AD-1377 crimp tool.

Major elements - stress control, insulation, shielding, and re-jacketing sleeve - are pre-expanded on one holdout.
