Apr 29, 2009 Aluminum based black anodized Elma front panel heat sinks dissipate heat while covering open sections of enclosure. Cooling fin extrusion has width of 42 HP and comes in 1U high increments. Each fin is built upon 1.5 HP pitch to leave enough space in between for screw heads. Heat sink front panels come in various sizes and configurations, but are specifically designed for 19 in. technology. EMC versions with mounting bracket for gaskets are also available.

ATCA Front Panel Assembly includes fully assembled handle.

Oct 28, 2008 AdvancedTCA Front Panel Assembly incorporates die-cast zinc base that strengthens ends of stainless steel front panels, reinforcing weak spots and minimizing possibility of bent pins and loose hardware. Spring loaded to provide smooth feel and action, pre-assembled IEA-R handle exceeds 250-actuation cycle testing without noticeable wear or degradation, assuring repeated ease of insertion and extraction of ATCA board. Handle conforms to PICMG 3.0 R2 specification and is RoHS-compliant.

May 12, 2008 Designed for ATCA standard boards with 8U height and 1.2 in. wide, AdvancedTCA front panels include 1 version with .5 mm deep channel for overlays to be placed and non-channel version which is anodized on outside of panel with clear chromate and intended for silk-screening/painting. Extruded aluminum panels are alodined on inside for electrical continuity (EMC) purposes. Custom versions as well as front panels for VME-based, cPCI-based, and MicroTCA architectures are also available.

Jun 25, 2004 AdvancedTCA Front Panels are 8U x 6HP and allow boards ranging in thickness from 1.6–2.4 mm to be mounted on same handle. They incorporate ESD spring technology, 2 grounding pins, and 2 locking screws. To provide all-in-one solution, handles are mounted to ATCA board on reference-plane side of panel. Filler panels are available for empty slots and provide ESD protection.
