Radar Level Sensor measures level of water and sewage.VEGA Controls Ltd
West Sussex RH15 9NF United Kingdom
Feb 03, 2011
Utilizing radar electronics, VEGAPULS WL 61 performs measurement independent of temperature, high winds, fog, or rain, and can be deployed into crowded pumping chambers. Featuring sealed cable and IP66/68 rated housing, sensor can directly connect to existing fieldbus systems or be loop-powered from signal conditioning instrument for pump control. Integrated sensor linearization curves can be programmed using FDT/DTM software, allowing direct output of flow rate in open channels.

Point Level Switch offers SIL-certified overfill protection.AMETEK Drexelbrook
Horsham, PA 19044
Feb 04, 2009
Safety IntelliPoint RF(TM) Switch, used in above-ground bulk storage tanks, meets American Petroleum Institute's 2350 Recommended Practice for overfill/spill protection. Specifically, it comes standard with SIL1 certification; SIL2 is optional, and SIL3 is possible with redundant switch. Integral software continuously monitors application for changes and maintains repeatable trip point on probe. Switch detects presence or absence of material without calibration, and MTTF is 110 years.

Available in PMC mezzanine card or half-length PCI card formats, Osiris supports 2 independent radar channels inputs at rates to 16k samples/return. Open standard-based solution supports sampling at frequencies up to 50 MHz on each of its 2 analog inputs, which can be mixed with up to 8 digital radar inputs. Its 64 bit, 66 MHz PCI interface can output 2 streams of radar video directly to host processor, and each stream can be processed using one of 2 sets of trigger and turning data.

Installed above medium to be measured, MRL700 utilizes antenna to emit continuous microwave signal ramping between 9.55 and 10.55 GHz. It receives reflected echo, enabling microprocessor-controlled electronics to compute medium's level to accuracy of +/- 1/8 in. MRL700 features NEMA 4X metal enclosure, 4-wire 24 Vdc electronics, 1 in. thread mounting, and TeflonŽ antenna.
