Control module provides step-down voltage to 1/3 of input voltage. Hit and hold circuit accepts 12 or 24 Vdc input to energize solenoid valve with full power for 110 msec. It then drops voltage and current and reduces power consumption to 1/9 of original value to hold valve in its energized mode, reducing heat generation.
