Individually controlling each brake to increase capabilities of existing machines, P3000HD creates multiple operating ranges by utilizing only necessary amount of pads to create required torque. Machines can then become more effective at running multiple types of materials with differing tension levels, gain greater control at lower torque ranges, run high mass rolls at lighter tensions, run low torque/tension applications that require high torque to stop, and reduce friction pad wear.
