Powered by compressed air, Chip Trapper(TM) cleans solids such as chips, swarf, and shavings out of used coolants and other liquids. Unit vacuums coolant or liquid that is filled with debris into included 55-gal drum, trapping all solids in reusable filter bag. With turn of flow valve, clean liquid pumps back out. Safe operation is assured with built-in pressure/vacuum relief and automatic safety shutoff valve that prevents spills or overfilling.

Nov 26, 2004 Suited for small machine tool sumps, Li'l Sucker utilizes 120 Vac, single-phase, 50 Hz/60 Hz motor. Average suction rate is 85 gpm, and average discharge rate is 40 gpm. Chip basket holds approximately 1.6 cu-ft of chips when full, and polypropylene liner provides 50 micron nominal filtration while vacuuming fluids from sump. When vacuuming is complete, chip basket is removed from machine with hoist to discard collected chips and swarf. |

Dec 04, 2003 Portable Model 50-C treats water-based coolants in individual machine sumps. Suction strainer, pump, and coalescer mount on portable platform and are served by Ruddy Duck Deep Skimmer that is placed on coolant surface. Top ½ in. of contaminated coolant is removed (free oil and cream phases), and delivered to coalescer for oil separation. System operates unattended and treats in sump, at sump, in central tank, or any combination of these modes. |
