Dryers/Ovens maintain peak operating efficiencies.

CMM Group, LLC, The
De Pere, WI 54115
Jul 12, 2002 Custom product line includes arched or flat roll support dryers, vertical tower dryers, and high velocity jet tube impingement ovens. Drying uniformity is achieved with air nozzles and/or impingement hardware. To accommodate future production volume increases, equipment can be designed and manufactured in modular style.

Jun 21, 2002 Model 400 integrated, multi-step system for pelletizing lines combines dewatering, drying, cooling, dedusting, and screening into single unit. It delivers product moisture levels at 0.04% in nylon applications and 0.10% in polyethylene, polystyrene, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, polyesters, polyurethanes and other commodity and engineering resins. Suitable for friable, glass-filled, and micropellets, it accommodates production rates of up to 10,000 lb/hr.

Jun 03, 2002 Model FT80 Spray Dryer has Tall Form chamber straight side to diameter ratio of 3:1 and conical discharge section. Features include 2-fluid nozzle atomization system, nozzle configurations for counter- and co-counter atomizing, and individual inlet and exhaust fans with variable speed control. IP65 control console provides full instrumentation, data logging for key operational parameters, and flexible controls. It is available as Spray Chiller (FT81).

Apr 11, 2002 Self-contained, closed-cycle, fluid bed-drying system dries solvent-based products, pesticides, and chemicals. Integral bag collector, atop of fluid bed dryer, permits processing of powders down to 10 microns, capturing 100% of entrained product and returning material for further processing and discharge. System cools exhaust air to condense and reclaim solvent and/or water for reuse, without exhausting any air into atmosphere.

Apr 09, 2002 DHA/CDA-PMX heatless desiccant compressed air and gas purification systems are suitable for environments laden with salt or chemicals. Construction includes poppet-style control valves with stainless steel internal parts, flanged manifold with removable inlet and outlet diffuser screens, and 1/8 in. corrosion allowance. Outlet air pressure dew points are rated at -40 deg F (DHA-PMX) and -100 deg F (CDA-PMX).

Mar 14, 2002 Refrigerated Dryers, with capacities from 1000 to 3000 scfm, have working pressures of 200 psig (max). Smooth surface, tube-in-tube, copper heat exchangers resist fouling, and provide heat transfer. All units use R-404a refrigerant, and contain no CFC's. Filtered separator equipped with Filter Monitor is standard on all models. Units also include Demand Manager(TM) microprocessor control system, and electronic demand drain.

Jan 23, 2002 Balston Membrane Air Dryer will dry compressed air to dewpoints as low as -40°F at flow rates up to 100 SCFM. It has no moving parts and operates without attention. Coalescing prefiltration is employed immediately upstream of membranes to protect them from pipe scale, particulate, and liquids. Dryer requires no electrical connections, which makes it ideal for remote and point-of-use installations or for flammable and explosive applications.

Jan 21, 2002 Optima LX Series heatless desiccant compressed air dryer provides ultra dry air required for critical compressed air applications. It has maintenance free shuttle valves, high efficiency coalescing prefilter, and particulate removal afterfilter. Non-lubricated switching valve and two solenoid-operated purge valves replaces up to 13 separate valves used in company's other designs. Dryers are available in 19 models rated from 55 to 3,250 scfm.

Jan 14, 2002 Dual in-line One-Pass Filter Driers provide 35 column in. of desiccant that is able to clean and dehydrate refrigerant on single pass to very near ARI-700 specifications. Installing filter on inlet side of purge tank helps protect purge tank from corrosion and acid build-up, helps prevent corrosion build-up on purge tank heat transfer coils, and helps remove acid and moisture from chiller's refrigerant.

Maguire Products, Inc.
Aston, PA 19014
Jan 07, 2002 LPDâ„¢ Low Pressure Dryer dries resin batches of 400 lbs within 4 hours, and requires 80% less energy than 100 lb/hr desiccant dryers. It uses vacuum to pull moisture from within pellets and carries out heating and vacuum drying simultaneously in separate stations. It essentially transforms batch processes into continuous processes. Dryer makes it possible to change materials or colors without stopping production.

RF Drying System improves insulation production.

RF Drying System improves insulation production.

Radio Frequency Co., Inc.
Millis, MA 02054
Dec 19, 2001 Macrowave applies radio waves at 40.68 MHz to remove water from fiberglass batting, board and vermiculite, and prevents migration of aqueous binders. It works on webs up to 12 ft wide. Because water is more responsive to RF energy than most materials, moist areas absorb more RF power than dry areas, which results in uniform drying. Method promotes consistent drying regardless of non-uniform density and moisture content of insulation materials.
