May 27, 2004 BondSeal 0442 consists of synthetic, rubber-based sealant strip that is applied to automotive body areas prior to paint cycle for purposes of gap filling, sealing out liquids, and eliminating unwanted noises. Formulated with blowing agents and curatives, product expands within 5 min of heat exposure in paint bake cycle and fully expands after 20 min at 180°C. It is also available with heat activated film on one side. |

Water-based Frekote(R) Aqualine R-550, when properly applied to preheated surface, chemically bonds to mold surface to form thin, inert, thermally stable coating capable of releasing all natural and synthetic polymers except silicone elastomers. Non-hazardous R-550 offers low mold buildup and is environmentally friendly, formulated with very low levels of VOCs. It cures instantly when applied at 150 deg C, and in 25 min at 60 deg C.
