Mar 08, 2004 PERMABOND PURE Anaerobic Adhesive/Sealants are single component liquids that cure when in contact with metal parts and oxygen is excluded. They fill gaps between mated parts by curing to hard plastic and locking assembly in place. PERMABOND PURE Threadlocking Adhesives/Sealants cure to cross linked plastic with environmental and temperature resistance. Examples include medium-strength, medium-viscosity MM115 and very low viscosity ML186 threadlocker and sealant.

Adhesives and Sealants handle temperatures to 200°C.

Permabond    Somerset, NJ 08873
Mar 08, 2004 Medium-viscosity, anaerobic Permabond HM130 prevents loosening of threaded fasteners and is suited for automated assembly processes. Used for cylindrical parts, Permabond HM162 retaining compound fixtures in 2-5 min. GASKETMAKER® Permabond MH196, non-flammable flange sealant forms instant, low-to-moderate pressure-resistant, leak-free seal and allows for metal-to-metal contact. Thixotropic property prevents migration before and during cure.

Instant Adhesive resists temperature up to 150°C.

Permabond    Somerset, NJ 08873
Mar 08, 2004 Permabond 801 cyanoacrylate, single-component, quick setting adhesive bonds rubber, metal, and plastics in applications with temperatures up to 150°C. Clear, low-viscosity liquid fixtures in less than 10 sec on most substrates.

Tailored Label Products, Inc.    Menomonee Falls, WI 53051
Mar 04, 2004 Model 3M(TM) VHB(TM) Tape can join dissimilar materials like plastic and metal, glass and metal, and aluminum and steel. It disperses pressure along entire length of seam, unlike rivet or joint where stress is concentrated in certain points. When bonding 2 unlike materials, it can resist differing co-efficients of thermal expansion. Tape prevents galvanic corrosion between metals and provides moisture seal as well as smooth, clean surface.

Mar 02, 2004 DRI TOUCH® PLUS IRP3 penetrant and sealant works on impregnated and non-impregnated powdered metal parts, regardless of density or porosity of surface. Low viscosity liquid penetrates remaining porosity of powdered or sintered metals to displace moisture beneath surface. Once dry, it leaves semi-solid protective film that is absorbed by part itself. Protection levels range from 80–120 hr of salt spray or several hundred hr of humidity resistance.

Henkel Loctite Corporation    Rocky Hill, CT 06067
Mar 02, 2004 Loctite® 4500(TM) and 4501(TM) surface insensitive cyanoacrylate adhesives bond metal, plastic, and elastomeric materials with acidic, porous, and absorbent surfaces. Single-component gel cyanoacrylate Loctite 4500 has consistency that prevents adhesive flow on vertical applications. Wicking viscosity, single component cyanoacrylate Loctite 4501 maintains cure speed for extended time period. Both maintain liquid performance properties over entire shelf life.
