RTD Temperature Assemblies suit heat tracing applications.United Electric Controls
Watertown, MA 02472
May 16, 2002 Temperature Sensors consist of terminal head, right-angle shaped outer sheath, and curved weld-pad. Replaceable RTD element assembly is contained in outer tube. Sensors, used as inputs into electronic heat tracing controllers and monitors, are available with different terminal heads, including aluminum and cast iron, NEMA 4X, explosion-proof, and polycarbonate. Weld-pad can be flat, or have radius for 2 through 3 in. pipe diameter. |
Temperature Probes meet custom sensing and switching needs.Atlantic Components
Woburn, MA 01801
May 14, 2002 Standard and custom NTC, PTC, and bimetallic temperature sensor assemblies can be configured with SS, ABS, Teflon(R), or PVC housings for surface, tube, pipe, air-stream, and through-hole mounting requirements. Probes can integrate multiple functions such as temperature, flow, and salinity into single assembly. Housings can incorporate threads or clips for surface, pipe, or snap mounting and can be equipped with any type of cable and connector assembly. |
Heat Flow Meters are easy to calibrate.CSC Scientific Co., Inc.
Fairfax, VA 22031
May 07, 2002
HFM Heat Flow Meters determine various factors like thermal passivity, thermal resistance, and thermal exchange that cannot be recorded by temperature alone. Measurements make it possible to evaluate and manage thermal insulation, energy control, and in/out balance of heat flow. Applications include medical research, solar and geothermal energy, industrial furnaces, and manufacturing plants.

IR Thermometer offers multiple sensor heads.Pyrometer Instrument Company, The
Windsor, NJ 08561-0479
May 06, 2002
Pyrofiber(R) utilizes pulse laser technology to measure infrared radiance while simultaneously measuring and correcting for emissivity. Temperature and emissivity values can be output independently via analog or digital signal to PC or network main frame. Several temperature models between 500 and 5400 deg F are available with target sizes between .040 and 2.300 in. diameter at focal distance from 4 to 120 in. Accuracy is within ±5 deg F.

Analog I/O connects via network.Rockwell Automation Allen-Bradley & Rockwell Software Brands
Milwaukee, WI 53204-2496
May 01, 2002 Additions to CompactBlock(TM) LDX I/O include analog and temperature blocks, plus networking. Analog blocks bring in current and voltage data from valves, pressure sensors, and related field devices. Temperature blocks accept signals from T/Cs and RTDs, and provide scaling for different device types allowing module to convert signal from any standard T/C or RTD into Fahrenheit or Celsius grade for display. Available on DeviceNet(TM) and PROFIBUS DP networks. |
Air Data Boom includes total air temperature sensor.SpaceAge Control, Inc.
Palmdale, CA 93550
Apr 08, 2002 Model 100900 heated, 4-vane air data boom provides supersonic data collection of angle of attack, angle of sideslip, static pressure, total (pitot) pressure, and total air temperature. Based on heated probe wind-tunnel tested to Mach 1.3, boom is constructed from machined aluminum, stainless steel, and copper alloys. Probe is 28 Vdc powered at 145 A, and meets requirements of MIL-T-5420B and SAE AS 393. |
Temperature Measurement System uses miniature IR sensor.Dwyer Instruments, Inc.
Michigan City, IN 46361 0373
Mar 11, 2002 Series MIL Mini In-Line 2-piece system has non-contact sensing head and separate electronics. Electronics offer emissivity, peak hold, valley hold, and averaging function, which are adjustable on 5-digit LCD. Sensor is housed in stainless-steel enclosure for harsh environments. Series is designed for temperature ranges from -40 to 1112 deg F. System has accuracy of ±1% of reading or ±1 deg F, which ever is greater, and choice of 2:1 or 10:1 optics. |
Temperature Sensor offers bench set-up.ifm efector, Inc.
Exton, PA 19341
Dec 13, 2001
TN2530 temperature sensor features microprocessor that allows users to establish temperature setpoint and resetpoint. Dual output sensor can be used in applications requiring both low and high temperature signal. Once temperature points are programmed in either deg F or C, they can be electronically locked. Analog output can be set to either 4 to 20 mA or 0 to 10V. Sensor probe is 316 stainless steel for corrosion resistance.
