Branford, CT 06405
Oct 09, 2002 Model FL3917 measures fluid flow by sensing its impact force on static target. Non-contact sensor is insulated from fluid by solid stainless steel wall. One-piece construction eliminates joints, welds, and seals. Designed to operate in temperature range from -30 to +90°C, target-type flow sensor provides bidirectional flow measurement at line pressures up to 1,000 psi. Small size of target and housing enable sensor to fit wide range of pipe diameters. |

Feed Sensor verifies flow of liquid through pumps.Walchem Corp.
Holliston, MA 01746 1460
May 28, 2002 PosiFlowO, suitable for EH and EZ Series pumps, detects flow of liquid output by pump, which verifies metering pump is moving liquid and has not lost prime. It does not incorporate any moving parts, and offers preserved flow path to eliminate plugging or jamming. Output signal stops if pump loses prime, is in dead-head condition, or if pump loses pressure due to broken discharge line. Input device can be configured to interpret signals. |

May 22, 2002 Model 104 Liquid Flo-Sensor measures flow rates of fluids as low as 13 mL/min with ±1.0% linearity (full scale) and ±0.2% repeatability. Stainless steel construction provides compatibility with virtually any chemical, including many solvents and organic compounds. Analog 0 to 5 Vdc output and pulse output are standard. Options include 4 to 20 mA outputs and integrated display. |
Flow Transmitter automatically scales analog output.ifm efector, Inc.
Exton, PA 19341
May 22, 2002
Model SI 1004, for liquid and gas applications, adjusts 4 to 20 mA output to open and close valve or adjust speed of pump. Bar-graph display provides local indication of flow rate. Sensor operates on calorimetric principle where cooling effect of flowing fluid is used to monitor flow rate. Transmitter has no moving parts, is packaged in one-piece housing, and has stainless steel wetted parts. It operates in fluid temperatures from -13 to +176°F and pressures up to 4350 psi.

Ultrasonic Flowmeter is easy to install.Dwyer Instruments, Inc.
Michigan City, IN 46361 0373
Apr 22, 2002
Non-invasive portable Model UF10A measures liquid flow with accuracy of 2% over flow ranges of 0.13 to 26 ft/sec. Easy to install, transducers mount directly to pipe materials such as stainless steel, cast iron, PVC, copper, and concrete with diameters of 1/2 to 4-1/2 in. Set up is simple using 15-key tactile keypad. Seven digit LCD indicates flow rate in user programmable units such as GPM, LPM, ft/sec, or m/s and totalization in gallons, liters, or m3.

Active Flow Switch works in pipes up to 4 ft dia.SeaMetrics Inc.
Kent, WA 98032
Dec 07, 2001 FS30 flow switch works with any of company’s flow sensors to send output at set flow rate. It can be inserted in pipe sizes 1/2 to 48 in., mounted on sensor or remotely, and set to activate on rise or fall. Set point is input using rotary digital switches. Switch has variable hysteresis or deadband setting to accommodate varying amounts of turbulence. If turbulence is significant, deadband keeps switch from chattering on and off at setpoint.
