Control System regulates re-circulating system temperatures.

Control System regulates re-circulating system temperatures.

Armstrong International, Inc.
Three Rivers, MI 49093
May 28, 2003 Electronic Mixing Center (EMC) combines integrated circuit board technology with precision hydraulics for water temperature control within institutional re-circulating hot water systems. Unit also employs building management system, PC interface capability, and site-programmable, high-temperature system flush for Legionella abatement. With overnight, low-temperature, energy-efficient mode options, product offers ±1°F control from 1–75 gpm.

HB Controls, Inc.
Bridgewater, MA 02324-4302
Jan 20, 2003 Microcontrollers, for use in instant hot water heaters for home, hotel, or industrial use, can be wired to circuit card in space-saving, wall-mounted heating unit programmed to maintain temperature within ±0.5°F. To save energy, temperature is maintained only as long as water flows.

Fan Controllers adjust fan speed according to temperature.

Microchip Technology, Inc.
Chandler, AZ 85224 6199
Jul 11, 2002 TC6xx controllers provide thermal protection in temperature-sensitive electronics. Fan speed can be programmed by output of remote thermistor or by SMBus communication based commands. Units detect fan wear-out before fan stops rotating by reading rpm data from up to 2 individual fans. Offered in 10-pin MSOP packages, devices have operating voltage range of 3.0 to 5.5 V and temperature range of -40 to +85°C.

May 16, 2002 ZXBM2000 series of ICs controls 2-phase, dc brushless fan and blower motors up to 100W. ZXBM2003 provides frequency generator rotor speed output; ZXBM2002 offers locked rotor error output; and ZXBM2M001 combines both signals on dual function pin. All deliver up to 80 mA to pair of external MOSFET or bipolar transistors connected to fan motor windings. Speed control is implemented via variable external voltage or NTC thermistor input.

Indeeco Controls
St. Louis, MO 63144
May 03, 2002 Model S95 provides 32-in-1 resistance heating load control solution for OEM and replacement applications. It is designed for field-selectable input options including 2200 ohm, 135 ohm, 4 to 20 mA, and 0 to 10 Vdc. Unit offers selectable linear or progressive switching and proportional or deadband control capability. It utilizes vernier control to drive B-Series or S-Series power controllers, and can provide up to 10 stages of control.

Saftronics, Inc.
Fort Myers, FL 33905
Apr 18, 2002 FPC5010S Smart Bypass monitors drive load and speed, and automatically transfers motor from VFD control to across-the-line at full speed. Removing drive from circuit improves efficiency of system by as much as 5%. It also improves harmonic distortion at full load by removing drive from circuit when harmonic content is greatest. Controller continues to monitor demand and, when requirements are reduced, transfers motor back to drive control.

Apr 08, 2002 A&B Series Power Controllers are designed with 4 field-selectable inputs: 2200 ohm, 135 ohm, 4-20 mA, and 0-l0 Vdc. They include zero-cross fired sold-state relays and proportional controls with 1 sec time base. Units support applications using up to 600 Vac and 50 amps in 1 or 3 phase (2 leg break) configurations. Applications include duct heaters, immersion heaters, electric boilers, industrial ovens, drying equipment, and parts washing equipment.
