How One Chemical Company Is Thriving in California's Regulation-Heavy Environment

Over the past several years, California has led the way in environmental regulations affecting businesses. By adopting such measures as the new Green Chemistry Initiative (which we have chronicled at IMT Green & Clean Journal here and here), the Golden State has been deemed Public Enemy No. 1 by chemical and other manufacturing businesses which complain that compliance will severely damage their operations and force them to lose out to competitors. But not everyone is seeing profits decline as regulations increase. There are many companies from San Francisco to San Diego that are doing quite well.
