Sustainability Spotlight: Energy-Saving Lighting Products are Burning Brighter
To chart the progress made towards shifting to more energy-efficient lighting, the U.S. DOE has released their 2010 U.S. Lighting Market Characterization report, which provides detailed estimates of the national inventory of installed lamps, their performance characteristics, associated energy use, and lumen production (a measure of brightness).
