Sustainability Spotlight: University of Central Florida Emerges as Champion of the Battle of the Buildings

Author: Congratulations to the University of Central Florida (UCF), who, from a field of 245 participants, emerged as the winner of EPA’s 2011 Energy Star National Building Competition: Battle of the Buildings.
Their winning building was a parking garage where energy efficiency improvements reduced consumption by more than 63 percent and saved almost $35,000 in energy costs. Read the rest of this entry »
