Yard Ramps handle loads up to 30,000 lb.
Press Release Summary:
February 6, 2014 - Offered in 30 and 36 ft lengths with widths from 50–100 in., Yard Ramps facilitate dynamic loading and unloading in absence of fixed loading docks. While both lengths feature identical inclines, longer model has 6 ft level section, allowing forks to be parallel with truck bed when entering truck. Steel models support all fork trucks and are compatible with over-the-road tractor trailers and railcars, while aluminum models are suited for coastal areas that create oxidation and rust in steel ramps.

Yard Ramps Offer Dynamic Loading and Unloading in any Environment
Press release date: January 28, 2014
The steel yard ramps support all makes and models of fork trucks and are compatible with over-the-road tractor trailers and railcars. They are especially useful at construction sites and in dynamic loading and unloading areas. Depending on the model, users may control ramp heights by activating attached hand cranks, hydraulic lifts or dock levelers.
Beacon yard ramps come in two standard lengths: 30 feet and 36 feet. While both feature identical inclines and offer similar load-bearing capabilities, the longer model has a level section that measures 6 feet in length, allowing the forks to be parallel with the truck bed when entering the truck. Depending on the exact model, widths may range from less than 50 inches to nearly 100 inches.
These versatile yard ramps are available in two basic material choices: steel and aluminum. Historically, the company's steel ramps have been the more popular choice due to their ruggedness and cost-effective construction. These ramps weigh between 3,780 and 6,720 pounds. Optional accessories include edge of dock levelers, hand rails, a standard tow package with pneumatic tires and a high-speed tow package that works at up to 45 miles per hour.
Beacon's lightweight aluminum ramps are ideal for dynamic loading applications in coastal areas that create oxidation and rust in steel models. Their rugged mesh grating offers a traction surface for fork trucks. Optional add-ons include tow bar hitches and pneumatic tires.
