Original Press Release:

New 9-Inch Wingnut Frame for Wooster Roller Gauges

In 2013, The Wooster Brush Company introduced their roller gauge system, a set of unique polypropylene roller cover endcaps that make it easier to achieve the proper mil thickness of various coatings. Today, Wooster is adding a 9-inch Wingnut Roller Frame as a new accessory to this system.

The innovative roller gauge system is used to spread, gauge, and back roll–replacing the squeegee process. They are ideal for use with roof and floor coatings, epoxies, urethanes, anti-skid floor toppings, vapor barriers, and metallic finishes. Previously, Wooster only offered the Sherlock® Wide Boy™ roller frame to use with the roller gauges. This adjustable frame holds 12-inch to 18-inch roller covers and is perfect for applying coatings to large areas. The addition of the 9-inch Wingnut Frame allows coatings to be easily applied in small rooms or tight areas. Now, whether applying coatings for large or small applications, Wooster has it covered.

The new 9-inch Wingnut Roller Frame has a suggested retail price of approximately $3.49 USD and is recommended for use with a 3/16-inch nap Wooster roller cover and the roller gauges matching the required mil thickness for best results. Look for this 9-inch frame at traditional paint and decorating centers, hardware stores, and paint sundry distributors or retailers.
