Sennheiser Releases the Premium SD Wireless Series Headsets for Contact Center, Office and Unified Communications Professionals in the Americas Region



OLD LYME, Conn. – Sennheiser, a leading provider of premium headset solutions, today releases the SD Wireless Series headsets to improve the quality of the working day and boost productivity for contact center, office and Unified Communications professionals. With HD voice clarity and dual connectivity for desk phone and softphone (PC), the Sennheiser SD Wireless Series brings hands-free freedom and premium sound quality to the North and Latin American markets.



Designed for professionals with an everyday need for high quality voice communications, the SD Wireless Series offers Sennheiser HD voice clarity technology, which  provides users with a rich communications experience. In addition the SD wireless Series offers a range of ergonomically designed headsets delivering excellent wearing comfort even with extensive usage.



The series of headsets released for the Americas are: SD Office, SD Pro 1, and SD Pro 2. SD Office is a single-sided premium wireless headset which enhances office mobility. The noise-cancelling microphone allows for increased productivity as the microphone filters out unwanted background noise.  It also has two different wearing styles: ear hook and headband wearing style with the option to personalize the headset for wearing on either the left or right ear. Users are free to move around the office while they communicate throughout the day.



SD Pro 1 and SD Pro 2 are single- and double-sided headsets offering users Sennheiser leadership in sound quality and product durability. With super-soft ear pads and an ultra noise-cancelling microphone, SD Pro 1 and SD Pro 2 is the perfect match for professional users working in busy and noisy environments.

Sennheiser is releasing all three different headsets with the same base station that was specifically designed for the North and Latin American markets. It comes in a plain black look with a clearly arranged interface which allows users to seamlessly switch between a desk phone and softphone.



All Sennheiser SD Wireless Series headsets are equipped with the unique patented ActiveGard™ technology to safeguard users against hazardous incoming sound surges that can be dangerous to the users hearing.



Additional features include full workday talk time - 8 hours in wideband sound mode and 12 hours in narrowband sound mode. With intelligent fast charging, the headset can re-charge 50% of battery in just 20 minutes.



The Sennheiser SD Wireless Series headsets will be available: June 2013.
