Lincoln Electric's New Invertec(R) V350-PRO Advanced Process Model Has Pulsed MIG Welding Capability

Cleveland, Ohio -- The Lincoln Electric Company introduces its newest Invertec V350- PRO-an advanced process model equipped with pulse MIG welding capability. This power source, like the standard Invertec V350-PRO, is the most powerful inverter in its class. The new Invertec V350-PRO advanced process model features an integrated control panel which eliminates the cable clutter and pendant confusion found in competitive products. Perfect for automotive work in steel, stainless steel and aluminum, the "Constant Power MIG" mode adjusts voltage and current for smooth welding of thin sheet metal. It provides pulse programs for: * Steel: .030",.035",.045",.052" * Stainless Steel: .030", .035", .045" * Aluminum: .035", 3/64", 1/16", 4043 and 5356 Alloys * Metal Core: .045", 052' * Nickel: .035",.045" The unit is the perfect match for the Cobramaticg aluminum wire feeder! In addition, it is extremely lightweight and able to handle multi-process applications. The Invertec V350-PRO provides the widest output range in its class from 5 to 425 amps, 350 amps at 60% duty cycle. The unit offers full output on single phase or offers three phase input power. It produces either a constant current or constant voltage welding output for Stick, TIG MIG or Arc Gouging. Twist-Mate style output connectors provide easy hook-up with welding cables and a tough. durable, reinforced case with skid bars for rugged conditions. The Invertec V-350 PRO provides a host of benefits such as electronic and thermostatic protection, line voltage compensation to maintain weld consistency and a special F.A.N. (Fan-As-Needed) cooling system. A simply designed control panel and presettable meters for precise welding procedure control round out the unit's features. For MIG welding, the Invertec V-350 PRO provides arc control for a soft or crisp arc using different types of wires. For TIG, the unit features Touch Start TIG that permits the TIG welding arc to be established without high frequency starting techniques. Variable Hot Start control procedures in Stick welding produce either a gentle start for thin gauge material or open gap weldments, or a more powerful start for positive penetration on critical weldments or dirty/rusty steel. Manufactured under a quality system certified to ISO 9002, the unit carries a 3-year warranty on parts and labor. The Lincoln Electric Company, Cleveland, Ohio, is a world leader in the design and manufacture of arc welding equipment and consumables, robotic welding systems, plasma and oxyfuel cutting equipment.
