AccuWeb 4000NET Now Controls BST CLS Color Sensor

4000NET now interfaces with CLS Pro 600 to provide enhanced line guiding.

Madison, Wis. — AccuWeb’s Micro 4000NET web guide controller now interfaces with BST’s CLS Pro 600 laser-guided, digital line/edge sensor. The CLS Pro 600 precisely scans lines, print or web edges using a highly accurate, high-resolution CCD-color line chip. A high scan rate of 500 Hz allows the CLS Pro to recognize interrupted lines or poor line contrast, even at high speeds. The 4000NET controller uses the sensor’s reading to recalibration the web guide system every four milliseconds. Using optional fieldbus adapters, the 4000NET controller easily interfaces   with most popular fieldbus networks, including ControlNet™, DeviceNet™, Modbus Plus, Profibus®-DP and Ethernet protocols. Discrete I/O interfacing is a standard feature.
