Waveform Generator utilizes hybrid functionality.

Press Release Summary:

Bench-top Model 2732 combines Direct Digital Synthesis and true arbitrary waveform generation. Dual independent channels are capable of sourcing waves up to 50 MHz and storing 4 million points of 14-bit waveform data per channel. While able to simulate non-periodic waves, stand-alone instrument can also reproduce quadrature sensor signals. Users can set internal relative phase between channels from 0.0-360.0° and synchronize secondary wave at any point within primary waves sequence.

Dual Channel Function/Arbitrary Waveform Generator Released

GENEVA, OH 4/30/07 -TEGAM's announces the newest addition to its 2700A line of Hybrid Series Function/Arbitrary Waveform Generators - a dual-channel bench top instrument that has the largest waveforms, widest bandwidth, and fastest rise time in its class. The Model 2732 has dual independent channels that are capable of sourcing waves up to 50MHz and can store 4 million points of 14 bit waveform data per channel.

The 2732:
o Is ideal for simulating I/Q test signals.
o Simulates high resolution non-periodic waves such as sonar, radar, seismic or electrical arcs.
o Reproduces quadrature sensor signals from positional indicators and encoders.
o Has the ability to set internal relative phase between channels from 0.0 to 360.0 degrees.
o Has the ability to synchronize a secondary wave at any point within the primary waves sequence.
o Can use either internal or an external reference clock.
o Can be synchronized with other instruments.
o Provides more value and convenience when compared to purchasing two separate instruments.
o Operates as a stand alone instrument.

Arbitrary wave data for the Model 2732 can be created using the front panel with built in functions such as sine/square/pulse/ramp, etc. WaveWorks DDS(TM) waveform creation software is also included at no additional cost and offers graphical tools to allow the creation and customization of virtually any waveform type.

Using a hybrid waveform generator design, TEGAM combined the best of both methods in signal generation. Direct Digital Synthesis (DDS) techniques provide simplicity and superior sweep/modulation performance; while true arbitrary waveform generation allows you to recreate any user-defined signal at the highest level of integrity. U.S. pricing for the Model 2732 is $3,840 and units are in stock and available for quick delivery.
