Vulnerability Assessment Software works with InfraWorks 360.

Press Release Summary:

AVERT, which identifies and quantifies vulnerabilities by simulating threats on 3D facility and security systems models, supports integration with Autodesk's InfraWorks 360, which enhances BIM workflows by enabling project stakeholders to aggregate, publish, store, collaborate, and manage large models centrally. Thus users can efficiently move 2D and 3D building and site information from Autodesk's suite of products into AVERT to optimize physical security design.

ARES Security's AVERT Speeds Up InfraWorks 360 Data Transfer

InfraWorks 360 and AVERT users benefit from tighter integration with rapid, quantitative security assessments

BURLINGAME, Calif. – ARES Security Corporation announces an advance in the integration of their AVERT solution with Autodesk's InfraWorks 360.  The enhanced integration is reflective of ARES Security's ongoing effort to deliver end-to-end solutions that address our customer's need for rapid, quantitative risk assessments.  Our customers are able to more efficiently move 2D and 3D building and site information from Autodesk's suite of products into the AVERT solution for the purpose of optimizing their physical security design.

Autodesk's InfraWorks 360 software enhances Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows by providing capabilities that enable project stakeholders to aggregate, publish, store, collaborate and manage large models centrally.

ARES Security's AVERT solution identifies and quantifies vulnerabilities by simulating threats on 3D models of the user's facility and security systems.  With AVERT users can test the effectiveness of current physical security systems and evaluate the cost and efficacy of future procurements and procedures.

"Since 2013 we have been working with Autodesk to find ways to move their models rapidly and easily into the AVERT solution for the purpose of assisting our customers assess risk and enhance security", states ARES Security's Senior Vice President of Business Development and Marketing, Robert Scott. "With the new one-step process, Autodesk InfraWorks 360 and AVERT customers will benefit from reusing exiting geometry models and shortening the time to evaluate their site security."

"Autodesk InfraWorks 360, with its ability to access and integrate data from multiple sources in a highly accurate, 3D model that can then be used to create, investigate and evaluate in context, is truly unique to the industry," said Theo Agelopoulos, Infrastructure Industry and Business Strategy Director, Autodesk. "Autodesk InfraWorks 360 offers a solution that helps to improve decision making, and it also facilitates stakeholder buy-in on large or small-scale projects. We applaud ARES Security for developing their AVERT solution, as it will help support the use of InfraWorks 360 within BIM workflows."
