Valve Array provides positive shut-off.

Press Release Summary:

Integrating adjustable bypass flow control, Coaxial Valves feature PowerTube(TM) technology built into each valve in PCS-1 15 manifold array. This feature is suited to applications that require constant coolant flow, even if valves' primary port is closed. Each valve module can be customized to accommodate multiple pressures, separate control and bypass protocols, and different media, all handled by one manifold arrangement.

Original Press Release:

New Powertube(TM) Valve Array Increases Design and Process Flexibility and Reduces Installation Costs.

Pendell, PA (August 2007) - The co-ax valves' PowerTube(TM) technology is built into each valve in the PCS-1 15 manifold array integrates a an adjustable by-pass flow control. This feature is especially suited to applications that require constant coolant flow, even if the valves' primary port is closed.

But in addition to the super fast actuation speeds and positive shut-off functionality inherent in the coaxial design, each valve module can be further customized to accommodate such process issues as multiple pressures, separate control and by-pass protocols and different media - all handled by one manifold arrangement.

The multiple valves / single manifold concept has many advantages. The compact arrangement saves space and eliminates potential leak points while optimizing control and design flexibility. It also reduces plumbing complexity, as well as inventory, material and installation time and costs.

About co-ax valves, inc.:
Headquartered in southern Germany, the company's North American operations are located in Philadelphia, PA. The company's solidly focused on debottlenecking flow related process and machine level valving problems. To do that we bring to bear an array of customized valve solutions integrating such features as bubble tight shut-off, bi-directional pressure-balanced designs, low energy and high cycle life, fast actuation, integral actuators and directly controlled valves that eliminate the need for internal pilot orifices. Many of these technologies and some of the designs are proprietary.

We know a lot about unusual and demanding applications. The exceptional accuracy and superior reliability of our coaxial PowerTube technology together with its huge operating range from vacuum to 7500 psi and from - 326°F to 756°F consistently allows us to debottleneck our customers' process or OEM design constraints.
