Vacuum Cup Kit for Small System Development


A vacuum cup kit that includes a miniature venturi vacuum generator, cups, fittings, and tubing for testing design ideas before ordering production parts is being introduced by Anver Corporation of Hudson, Massachusetts.

The Anver Vacuum Cup Kit MCM-VKIT lets a product designer breadboard and test a small pick-and-place vacuum system before ordering production quantities of parts. Featuring a selection of flat- and bellows-style vacuum cups, included are the tubing and components needed to create a compressed air-based system for picking up lightweight, nonporous items.

Supplied with 20 ft. of urethane tubing, the Anver Vacuum Cup Kit MCM-VKIT includes a miniature vacuum generator with ¼" female input port and a 1/8" NPT female port that connects to the cups; a selection of two 1" dia. flat, two 1 ½" dia. flat and two 1 5/16" dia. 1.5 bellows-style cups, one shut-off ball valve, and four fittings. Load capacity is 3.1 lbs. for 1" dia. flat cups.
