UV Exposure Meter displays dosage and uniformity.

Press Release Summary:

Compact, self-contained IL393UV Light Bug radiometer measures total dosage and peak irradiance of UV illumination occurring in real-time inside equipment. LCD provides immediate graphic representation of light distribution or illumination uniformity, and it holds two sets of measurements for making comparisons in real-time. It withstands intense UV irradiance and temperatures found inside curing ovens and photoresist exposure systems.

UV Exposure Meter Graphically Displays Dosage And Uniformity

A new compact, self-contained portable radiometer that can measure the total dosage and peak irradiance of UV illumination occurring in real-time inside of equipment, and immediately display system diagnostics is being introduced by International Light, Inc. of Newburyport, Massachusetts.

The IL393UV Light Bug is a compact instrument that can withstand both the intense UV irradiance and extreme temperatures found inside curing ovens and photoresist exposure systems. Featuring Uniformity View, a new LCD display which provides an immediate graphic representation of the light distribution, or illumination uniformity, this self-contained instrument holds two sets of measurements for making comparisons in real-time.

Eliminating the need for data transfer and computer analysis, the IL393UV Light Bug monitors lamp output during the actual curing process and runs on 2 LiF batteries which last up to 5 years. Only 1/2 in. thick, it operates over a wide dynamic range of 1 x 10-3 to 20 w/cm2, can withstand up to +500°C for 30 seconds, and is N.I.S.T. traceable per ANSI Z.540-1 and ISO 10012-1. The IL393UV Light Bug is priced at $1,495.00.
