DEK's Instinctiv(TM) User Interface Available On All Micron-Class Platforms
DEK has redefined the ergonomics of machine user interfaces to dramatically increase productivity and machine utilization. The DEK Instinctiv(TM) user interface also acts as the portal to content-rich technical support services via the Internet and is now available on the Micron-class Galaxy and Europa platforms.
DEK Instinctiv is a revolutionary user interface that draws on human factors techniques commonly found in virtual reality technologies to display complex machine and process data in an easily digestible form. Advanced graphical techniques, innovative features including TimeToGo real-time indication of consumables levels, and extensive on-board help and error recovery allow operators using Instinctiv to achieve higher productivity with less training, maximize uptime and assess and optimize complex processes.
DEK Instinctiv is also the portal to DEK's Interactiv(TM) portfolio of online support services. Interactiv enables users to independently query DEK's knowledge servers based at technical centers around the world. These contain detailed process and setup information, graphical tips and help, and are constantly updated and augmented by customer services teams. Voice communication with the DEK helpdesk network can also be activated at the push of a button, allowing operators to work collaboratively with remotely based DEK technical staff across a virtual private network (VPN), including sharing control of the machine to perfect setup, fine-tuning machine settings, and resolving machine issues.

The DEK Instinctiv user interface is now available with DEK's Micron-class Galaxy and recently introduced Europa. Using wireless broadband connectivity across the shop floor, combined with up to the minute security features including Internet firewall and Wireless Encryption Protocol (WEP), Micron-class machines can now be connected to DEK knowledge servers via IPsec VPN tunnel technology without requiring extra cabling. There are extensive additional security features inherent in the machine hardware, and each Galaxy and Europa delivered are ready to connect immediately to DEK Interactiv subscription services.
