For organizations that test a few different materials regularly, the new TI-25S Ultrasonic Wall Thickness Gauge offers an ideal balance between versatility, performance and price.
The TI-25S arrives complete and ready to use, pre-programmed with sonic velocities for eight material types - aluminum 2024, stainless steel 303, steel 4340, cast iron,
Plexiglass, PVC, polystyrene and polyurethane.
An easy-to-use software program (included free) allows two user-selected velocities to be added (for a total of ten). In this way, the TI-25S can be customized for a specific application or type of material.
The TI-25S has a measuring range of 0.025 to 19.999 inches (0.63 to 199.99 mm) with a resolution of .001 inches (0.01mm). It is switch selectable between English or metric units and displays results in inches, inches/microsecond, millimeters and meters/second. In addition, you can change velocities on the fly, without using computer software.
The TI-25S features large numerals and a backlit display for easy reading in dim light. Two AA batteries (alkaline or NiCad) provide power for up to 200 hours of use. The TI-25S is protected by our 5-year limited warranty.
