Non-Contacting Flow Meter
This new DFM-IV Doppler Flow Meter from Greyline Instruments measures flow from outside a pipe. The strap-on ultrasonic sensor mounts on any pipe 1/2" ID or larger. Greyline recommends the DFM-IV for "difficult" liquids like wastewater, sludge, slurries, abrasives or any liquid with bubbles or suspended solids. Calibration and start-up is simple with the built-in 3-button keypad.
Standard features include a large 4-digit display, a 16-digit totalizer, isolated 4-20mA output and 3 control relays. VFD interference suppression is automatic for pump station applications. Options include a built-in 50,000 point data logger and reporting system with RS232 output and Windows software, intrinsically safe, high temperature and small pipe sensors.
