Miniature Triaxial Accelerometer for Modal Analysis Applications

Chatsworth, CA - February 19, 2009 - Dytran Instruments, Inc. has released a new miniature triaxial accelerometer with TEDS capability. The model 3263M9 is the newest addition to the 3263A family of accelerometers. These units are high sensitivity IEPE accelerometers designed for modal analysis applications.

The 3263M9 has a sensitivity of 100 mV/g and a broad frequency response. It features a lightweight titanium housing, single 4-pin connector, and a 4-40 tapped hole, as well as IEEE 1451.4 TEDS.

This accelerometer is unique in that the labels of the axes X, Y and Z are laser marked in a large font size on three orthogonal faces, which aids the user in orienting the sensor.

Designed for use in modal analysis applications, the 3263M9 is also ideal for use in noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) testing, environmental stress screening (ESS), and general purpose triaxial vibration measurements.
