Keller Introduces Two Loading-Dock and Warehouse-Safety Training Programs

Neenah, WI - J. J. Keller & Associates, Inc. has just introduced The Ins and Outs of Loading Dock and Warehouse Safety and The Ups and Downs of Material Handling Equipment Safety, two new video-based training programs that provide important training for those who load, unload or move freight between the trailer and the warehouse.

The Ins and Outs of Loading Dock and Warehouse Safety concentrates on common causes of loading-dock and warehouse injuries and cargo damage, such as slips and falls at the loading dock; back injuries from improper lifting/carrying; vehicle movement during loading/unloading; and more. Drivers, dock workers and warehouse employees will learn how to spot and prevent typical hazards.

The Ups and Downs of Material Handling Equipment Safety concentrates on critical safety procedures related to loading, unloading and final placement of cargo. The program's high-impact video shows drivers, dock workers and warehouse employees how to avoid injuries when they use, or encounter, material-handling equipment, including pallet jacks, high-lift stackers, dock levelers, hand trucks and forklifts.

Along with the video, each program includes a trainer's guide that provides training tips and techniques, 11 action cards that reinforce key concepts, an awareness poster, and a training log to document training. Additional materials to train more employees are available separately.
