Larson Electronics LLC Releases 3.1 MP Thermal Infrared Imaging Camera
Larson Electronics LLC, a leader in industrial lighting, just announced the release of a thermal infrared imaging camera featuring a laser spot, GPS, and Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capabilities. This camera provides operators with a robust temperature-monitoring device, ideal for inspections, industrial sites, outdoor systems monitoring, power plants and more.
The TMRCMR-PCM-3.1MP is a cutting-edge thermal imaging camera for industrial applications, producing 3.1 MP images at 1024 x 768 HD resolution, and has a detectable temperature range of -40°C to 2,000°C. A continuous zoom up to 8x, field view of 28 x 21 degrees to precisely target objects and surfaces, and a proprietary image-enhancing that removes unwanted noise, make this infrared camera great for inspection. This monitoring device reads within +/- 1-2 percent accuracy in main range with a 0.02º Celsius sensitivity threshold. It also features a very large 800 x 480 touchscreen viewfinder, allowing operators to take snapshots without limiting peripheral vision.
This thermal imaging camera includes a laser spot, GPS, and built-in compass providing operators with geographical information, while Bluetooth and Wi-Fi allow real-time wireless transmission of images. This infrared camera is powered by a rechargeable li-on battery with 2.5 hours of continuous, and takes 2.5 hours to recharge to 90%. The battery has a variety of charging options including an AC adapter, a 90-260V AC outlet, or a standard 12V DC vehicle outlet. Voice, text, image descriptions and sketch annotations are available, and an SD card slot allows external storage. This camera is constructed of heavy-duty magnesium and IP54 rated for rugged work site protection. The camera is designed for comfortable handheld use and can be mounted on a tripod for hands-free operation.
