Three-Phase Power Quality Analyzer can record for months.

Press Release Summary:

Equipped with 3 current and 4 voltage input terminals, shock-resistant PowerPad® III Model 8333 lets users measure and carry out diagnostics and power quality work on single- or 3-phase networks. This 3-phase power quality analyzer, which is IEC 61000-4-30 Class B and safety-rated to 600V CAT IV, can store trend data, alarms, transients, and snapshot data in memory. Device measures TRMS voltages to 1,000 Vrms AC/1,200 Vdc and TRMS currents to 10 kArms (sensor dependent).

Original Press Release:

NEW Three-Phase Power Quality Analyzer Travels Anywhere

AEMC’s New PowerPad III Model 8333 is Compact and Convenient

CHESTERLAND OH — Need to troubleshoot machinery or power distribution panels? CAS DataLoggers and AEMC introduce the new PowerPad® III Model 8333, an easy-to-use, compact and shock-resistant three-phase power quality analyzer. It enables technicians and engineers to measure and carry out diagnostics and power quality work on single- or three-phase networks. Three current and four voltage input terminals are provided, and the device is IEC 61000-4-30 Class B and safety-rated to 600V CAT IV.

The new Model 8333 has memory available for storing trend data, alarms, transients, and snapshot data. The data logger is capable of storing up to 12 screen snapshots, up to 51 captured transients that contain four cycles for each active input, and 4,000 alarm events from up to 10 different parameters. Users can record trend data for days, weeks or even months.

The data logger is part of a cost-effective kit which includes three MN193 current probes, four black 10 ft voltage leads, four black alligator clips, twelve color-coded input ID markers, NiMH battery, 110/240V power adapter, USB stick, user manual, and free configuration software.

Applications include:

• Verification of power distribution circuits

• Troubleshooting of in-plant power distribution panels and individual machinery

• Monitoring pad mount transformers and phase unbalances

• Determining harmonic problems originating from source or load

• Determining transformer K-Factor

Features:

• Measurement of TRMS voltages up to 1000Vrms AC / 1200VDC for single- or three-phase networks

• Measurement of TRMS currents up to 10kArms (sensor dependent)

• Records and displays trend data as fast as once per second for one month up to 29 variables

• Captures up to 51 transient occurrences on all V and A inputs

• Measures harmonics (referenced to the fundamental or RMS value) for voltage, current or power up to the 50th harmonic

The data logger kit also includes AEMC DataView® software for configuring real-time display & report generation. DataView® enables users to view stored data downloads for analysis and report generation.

CAS DataLoggers also offers another model of the new PowerPad III. The Model 8336 enables technicians and engineers to measure and carry out diagnostics and power quality work on one-, two- or three- phase networks. Five voltage and four current inputs are provided.

At CAS DataLoggers we offer these and many other AEMC products as compact stand-alone data loggers with models for AC or DC voltage or current, temperature, event recording and more. Check out all our available AEMC models at http://www.dataloggerinc.com/manufacturers/AEMC/11/.
