Thin Film exhibits high thermal conductivity.

Press Release Summary:

When placed between heat source, such as semiconductor and heatsink, 0.3 mm thick Sarcon® 30-YR-a Thin Film effectively eliminates near-microscopic air gaps that exist between components. V-0 rated product, available in 36 or 85 mm width rolls or die-cut to requirements, has -60 to +180°C operating range and exhibits thermal conductivity of 2.2 W/m°K with thermal resistance of .28°C in.²/W. By increasing surface area contact, it is possible to improve cooling performance of heatsink.

High Thermal Conductivity Thin Film

Carteret, NJ — If you are looking for a high performance, thermal interface solution, Fujipoly recommends you consider the company’s new Sarcon® 30-YR-a Thin Film. At 0.3mm thick this material exhibits a thermal conductivity of 2.2 W/m°K with a thermal resistance of .28°Cin2/W.

When placed between a heat source such as a high-performance semiconductor and a nearby heatsink, Sarcon® 30-YR-a effectively eliminates near-microscopic air gaps that exist between the components. By increasing surface area contact it is possible to measurably improve the cooling performance of the heatsink.

This V-0 rated thin film is recommended for applications with operational temperatures that range from -60°C to +180°C. Sarcon® 30-YR-a can be ordered in 36mm or 85mm width rolls or can be die-cut to your exact specification requirements.
