Thin Film Chip Resistor Sample Kits act as prototyping aids.

Press Release Summary:

Respectively supplying total of 3,200 and 2,200 resistors, TNPW0402 e3 (LTW0402 e3 96/4) and TNPW0603 e3 (LTW0603 e3 96/4) kits aid engineers in prototyping electronic systems. Each kit offers ~100 resistance values with tight 0.1% tolerances and low temperature coefficients of ±25 ppm/K. While TNPW0402 e3 offers 40 resistors for every fourth value of E-96 series, with 51.1 Ω to 100 kΩ resistance range, TNPW0603 e3 offers 20 resistors for every fourth value with 10 Ω to 332 kΩ resistance range.

Vishay Intertechnology Introduces New High-Stability Thin Film Chip Resistor Laboratory Sample Kits

AEC-Q200-Qualified Prototyping Aids Provide Every Fourth Value of E-96 Series in TNPW0402 e3 and TNPW0603 e3 Packages

MALVERN, Pa. – Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) today announced that the company is now offering laboratory sample kits of its high-stability thin film chip resistors. The TNPW0402 e3 (LTW0402 e3 96/4) and TNPW0603 e3 (LTW0603 e3 96/4) kits aid engineers in prototyping and speed time to market in a wide range of electronic systems.

The two new sample kits released today offer roughly 100 of the most popular resistance values in the TNPW0402 e3 and TNPW0603 e3 packages, respectively, with tight 0.1 % tolerances and low temperature coefficients of ± 25 ppm/K. The TNPW0402 e3 (LTW0402 e3 96/4) offers 40 resistors for every fourth value of the E-96 series, with a resistance range from 51.1 Ω to 100 kΩ. The TNPW0603 e3 (LTW0603 e3 96/4) offers 20 resistors for every fourth value, with a resistance range from 10 Ω to 332 kΩ.

The AEC-Q200-qualifed resistors are enclosed in cardboard tape on clearly labeled six-ring A5 binder pages, sorted in ascending order of resistance value. The TNPW0402 e3 (LTW0402 e3 96/4) and TNPW0603 e3 (LTW0603 e3 96/4) supply a total of 3,200 and 2,200 resistors, respectively, giving engineers the freedom to experiment until they've found the perfect fit for their designs.

Built on advanced thin film technology, Vishay's precision chip resistors deliver accurate and stable performance for precision amplifiers in automotive and industrial electronics; sensors and scales; telecommunication base stations; and medical equipment. Given the resistors' excellent overall stability, typical applications for the TNPW0402 e3 (LTW0402 e3 96/4) and TNPW0603 e3 (LTW0603 e3 96/4) include engine control units; gearbox controls; braking, safety, and power supply systems; steering technology; and measurement control.

The devices included in the sample kits are RoHS-compliant and offer lead (Pb)-free solder terminations.

The sample kits are available now, with typical lead times of three weeks. Pricing for U.S. delivery only is $80 per kit.
