New Smart Thermometer Features Built-In Alarming and Graphing

Innovative EnviroPad from CAS DataLoggers For Thermocouple Data Logging

CHESTERLAND OH–CAS DataLoggers and Lascar have partnered to introduce the latest addition to the bestselling EasyLog temperature data logging line–the new EL-ENVIROPAD-TC. A ‘smart’ thermometer for spot temperature readings with built-in data logging and onscreen graphing functionality, this robust and easy-to-use handheld device takes and records temperature readings via the supplied K-type probe at a -180° to + 1300°C (-292° to +2372°F) measurement range. Ideal for spot checking on food processing lines and many other cold chain applications, these new thermocouple loggers are a great low-cost replacement for inaccurate and outdated thermometers, all at a low cost which can fit any business’s budget.

The new smart thermometer has two key functions--Data Logging and Spot Measurement. When in Data Logging mode, the unit can be set and left by itself to take temperature readings at pre-determined intervals for any desired length of time. Users can log temperature in either Celcius or Fahrenheit. The logger’s audible alarming feature alerts users the moment that temperatures are found to be out of specification, and users can also set their own High & Low alarms. The large 2.8” color touch screen display indicates temperature, maximum and minimum readings and produces a graph of the data.

All readings are saved to the logger’s integrated memory on a file along with a date and time stamp in CSV format, storing up to 65,536 readings. The datalogger is compatible with any J, K, N and T-type thermocouple probes via mini-thermocouple connection. When in Spot Measurement mode, the unit can be used as a thermometer to capture one-off temperature readings which are displayed onscreen. This can be repeated up to 65,536 readings per file. Saved data is downloadable to PC via micro USB connection using the supplied cable and viewable using Microsoft Excel®, via our free specialized datalogging software, or similar spreadsheet packages. The unit’s internal rechargeable lithium polymer battery enables extended operation. The EnviroPad also comes with a removable protective boot (dishwasher-safe) for increased durability.

Featuring audible alarming and simplified data presentation, the new EnviroPad is a great way to keep track of your products’ temperatures and avoid a critical loss of quality. Replace your outdated thermometers today with these affordable devices!

Our line of Lascar EasyLog data loggers provide you with an inexpensive easy to use solution for stand-alone data recording of temperature, humidity, voltage, current and carbon monoxide. Their built-in USB interface makes connection to a PC for setup and downloading data a snap.
