Microtips Technology is excited to announce our 7.0 inch transmissive type, active matrix TFT display. Our product uses amorphous silicon TFT, as switching devices. As drone industries become more popular, both internationally, and domestically, Microtips Technology has been paying close attention to drones hand held controllers. Our 7.0 inch LCD displays is a great drop in replacement, for this form of application, which is also great for the user ability to view flight patterns, and enable camera systems for landscape photography. Furthermore it can use as a notification mechanism for low battery, and wifi enable. Our graphics, and texts can be displayed on a WVGA 800 (W) x RGB x 480 (H), with an aspect ratio of 16:9.The power supply voltage for our display, used a 3.3Volts, along with the operating temperature of -20 ~ 70 degrees Celsius, and a storage temperature of -30 ~ 80 degrees Celsius. Our display also has an active area of 152.4 x 91.44mm, with viewing direction, defined by the rubbing direction of its TFT surface treatment. Not only does our 7.0 TFT LCD have great features, but has a response time of 5ms, a brightness of 1000cd/m2, and ensuring that the Vss interface pin being grounded instead of being floated.
The lifetime on our 7.0 inch TFT display is 40,000 hr, at Ta = 25+- 2 degrees Celsius. Furthermore this LCD display has a power consumption of 2574mW, when IB is 260mA and VB at 9.9 volts. Our 7.0 TFT display has its LEDs as a 3 series x 13 parallel type, with this type of set up, our LCD has surpasses many customer quality expectations, and tests, along with a contrast ratio of 400:1. Many drones controllers provide precise aircraft control, with real-time information, which are displayed on either a direct sunlight viewable display, either touch, or no touch which we have demonstrated the capability of the 7.0 transmissive TFT display. Other drones used different type of dashboard to navigate their drones, but we are confident in saying, we can meet customer requirements whether its small, or big 7-segment, character, OLED, or graphics display.
