The ThinPRO Electronic Tape Feeder is designed to provide greater accuracy and performance for the placement of 0201/0402 components. Components smaller than .040 (1 mm) are well suited for ThinPRO Electronic Tape Feeder. This product is interchangeable with previous QUAD assembly equipment platforms. The combination of the narrow profile and the ThinPRO feeder base increases feeder capacity by up to 30%. The heart of the ThinPRO Electronic Tape Feeder is a durable direct-drive motor which accurately advances plastic, paper or foil tapes to the pick position. The smooth action of the direct-drive motor provides controlled acceleration and deceleration which minimizes jarring of components. ThinPRO Electronic Tape Feeders are equipped with two optical encoders for precision component presentation. Additionally, ThinPRO Electronic Tape Feeders work with the IQ SmartFeeder system. The IQ SmartFeeder system verifies correct feeder setup and expedites the setup process.
