Traceable® Laser Beam Tachometer
Control Company's new Traceable® Laser Beam Tachometer allows optical non-contact measurements to be made by placing a piece of reflective tape on the rotating object. Laser locks on the self-adhesive reflective tape (30" supplied) and counts rotations. In two seconds, it provides a rock-solid answers from 10 to 99,000 revolutions per minute. Five-digit resolution is 0.001, 0.01, 0.1 or 1 depending on the revolutions displayed.
Units are designed to measure centrifuges, pumps, rollers, shafts, gears, motors, and moving surfaces. Accuracy is ±(0.04% plus 2 digits). Hold button freezes results. Precision quartz crystal insures stable and repeatable results. Short sampling time provides answers in two seconds LCD digits are 1/2" high and can be read from 10 feet. Low battery condition is indicated on the display. Impact resistant ABS housing protects the unit.
Individually serial-numbered Traceable® Certificate is provided from our ISO 17025 calibration laboratory. It indicates traceability to standards provided by NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology).
