ASCO Introduces 362/562 Series Spool Valves in ¾-inch and 1-inch Sizes with Industry's Highest Flow Rates

FLORHAM PARK, NEW JERSEY, U.S.A. --  ASCO has introduced its ASCO 362 and 562 Series of brass and stainless steel spool valves in ¾-inch and 1-inch sizes featuring the industry's highest flow rates. These new sizes provide design engineers with attractive new solutions for control valve automation in the upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas markets.

"With the introduction of these 362 and 562 Series products, ASCO is becoming a comprehensive product line supplier with exciting new capabilities for upstream oil and gas automation," said Robert W. Kemple, Jr., executive vice president, sales and marketing — Americas, ASCO. "We are the industry's only provider that offers a ¾-inch size in stainless steel 3-way and 4-way models and a 1-inch size in a stainless steel 4-way model."

The valves' exceptionally high flow rates will enable original equipment manufacturers to use smaller piping and purchase lower cost valves while achieving the same flow specifications. Both ¾-inch and 1-inch valves improve flow by 35% over their respective competitive valves.

The 362 and 562 Series valves are available in brass and 316L stainless steel construction for corrosion resistance in harsh environments. The series includes both pneumatic and solenoid models. Optional features include:

New dual approved solenoid option with ATEX d and UL hazardous location approvals

Low-temperature models rated at -40° C

Momentary manual override

"Our new valves utilize ASCO's proven solenoid technology, which has led the industry in reliability for decades," said Kemple. "We design, manufacture, and test our solenoids for the highest-quality, longest lifecycles, and greatest product availability."

The ASCO 362 Series is a three-way valve made for single-acting process valve applications. The ASCO 562 Series is a four-way spool valve designed for double-acting process valves.

Popular constructions will be available for same-day shipping with no expediting fees via ASCO Express. The valves can be ordered through ASCO distributors and sales representatives.
