Champion® Adds 3-Phase Models to LX Series 14 Seer Split System Heat Pump and Air Conditioner Line

MILWAUKEE – Johnson Controls has expanded its Champion® LX Series line to include THE heat pumps and TCD air conditioners that support 3-phase, 230/640-volt light commercial applications.

The new 3-phase heat pumps and air conditioners use R-410A refrigerant and employ robust condenser coils constructed from durable copper tubing and enhanced aluminum fins for optimal heat transfer. Available in 2.5- to 5-ton models, the units feature post-painted steel coil guards with extruded louvers that eliminate sharp edges, while protecting coils from external damage.

Contractors will also appreciate:
•    Swing-open electrical box for easy interior access
•    Smooth edges for easy handling
•    Compact footprint and its own skid for easy hand trucking and placement on site
•    Cabinet exterior with long-lasting powder-coat paint for superior protection from corrosion and fading
