Springfield, OH, USA, January 8, 2002 - The Moyno Annihilator is a twin shaft solids reduction unit designed for trouble-free performance in a variety of installations including sewage lift stations, head works and sludge processing systems. To avoid costly downtime and expensive factory repairs, each Annihilator is supplied with seals and bearings housed in a replaceable stainless steel cartridge. These exclusive cartridges allow for quick on-site replacement of bearings and seals without completely disassembling the grinder. When all four assemblies are replaced annually, an extended warranty is available.
The Annihilator's field-proven, counter-rotating, hexagonal shaft design coupled with its hardened steel cutters provide the maximum shredding strength necessary to process from 300 to 4,250 GPM (.43 to 6.12 MGD) of influent. When properly specified, the Annihilator prolongs the service life of downstream equipment such as pumps, sensors, monitors and valves.
For even greater performance, the Annihilator is fitted with patented, toothed cutting spacers that increase the unit's efficiency, further decrease particle size and reduce the risk of failure from ragging.
