Solder Paste Dispensing System Mechanical Drive Assures Even Solder Mix

A fully programmable, bench top solder paste dispensing system that eliminates the tunneling, paste separation, and waste caused by pneumatic systems has been introduced by Fishman Corporation of Hopkinton, Massachusetts.

The Fishman LDS9000 Solder Paste Dispensing System features a hand-held gun with a mechanically driven lead screw which gently and precisely pushes the solder mix through an industry-standard plastic syringe and tip. Operating without the pulsation and pounding of air-pressure dispensing systems that can cause tunneling and solder paste separation, this user-programmable mechanical drive system accurately dispenses an even mix of solder.

Providing highly repeatable deposits, the Fishman LDS9000 Solder Paste Dispensing System employs a linear actuator, under software control, to move the plunger in the syringe without crushing the paste. Operating on 115 VAC, this intelligent system even draws the paste back at the end of a dispense cycle, automatically, to prevent waste and permits the filling of syringes 3 full versus only - full to save material and changeover time.

The Fishman LDS9000 Solder Paste Dispensing System sells for $1,876.00. A free two-week in-house trial is available. Literature is provided upon request.
