ABB Launches New Line of 1500vdc Components for the Solar PV Industry at Solar Power International Event



ABB develops new line of state-of-the-art 1500vdc rated components for use in Solar PV applications.



Las Vegas, Nevada — ABB, the leading power and automation technology group, today announced the introduction of a new line of 1500vdc rated components for solar PV applications.



These components include disconnect switches, molded case switches, contactors, surge protective devices and voltage/current sensors. Some components are rated up to 3000amps at 1500vdc and carry various UL and/or IEC certifications. These components are designed to meet the expected trend in development of large scale 1500vdc utility power plants.
