Synergy 2000 Version 6.0 Makes SPC Users More Proficient
Cincinnati, OH - Release 6.0 of Zontec's Synergy 2000(TM) statistical process control (SPC) software begins shipping April 15, 2005.
Synergy 2000 is used in quality assurance applications to monitor and react to process variation during production and inspection. The software provides a full complement of tools that support Six Sigma quality initiatives, and is particularly well-suited for companies that want to monitor processes at multiple locations in real time.
Release 6.0 gives users many new chart and report options, in addition to a number of improvements that simplify program operation. Some of the new features include:
o Rainbow, EWMA (Exponentially Weighted Moving Average) and Poisson EWMA control charts
o Box and Whisker Plot for Managers
o Serial device interfacing that allows two-way I/O using device command strings
o Viewing of engineering drawings in both JPG and BMP format
o Control chart "snapshots" on ranges of spreadsheet data
o Simultaneous calculation of control limits for multiple characteristics
o Calculation of control limits from the engineering target value
o Updated Gage R&R calculations based on Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) standards, Third Edition
o Microsoft(R) .NET compatibility
